Oh my gosh!!! We had our ultra sound today and saw the strong, healthy heart beat of our little baby! I am 6 weeks and 6 days today. Dr. Graham didn't have the ultra sound wand in me more than 20 seconds before she saw the heartbeat. I had my eyes closed, took a deep breath and let it out and by the time I exhaled, she said she saw the baby and the heart beat. I looked at Tim who had a smile on his face, looking at the ultra sound and he said he saw it right away too. Tears just poured out of my eyes. She then let me see it and sure enough you can see the little piece of rice's heart beat flitting away. She said it was a really strong beat :) She said that the shape and size of my uterus were perfect!
Tim and I were really trying to not give our hopes up. Just moments before the doc came in, we were making plans as if there wasn't going to be a baby. I knew that God would comfort us and heal us just as he did the first pregnancy and His embrace never left me. I'm just so grateful that this time, we got positive news and we can relax a little bit and start enjoying the idea of becoming parents.

Incredible!!!! I can only imagine how nervous you must have been!! Hope the rest of your pregnancy is happy and healthy, can't wait to see the baby belly to come!
