I had my weekly OB appointment today. I got to see my regular OB (last week I didn't get to see her) so I was pretty relieved she was available today. I didn't feel confident in what I was told last week. Anyway, I'm dilated 1cm! And it's confirmed Kaydriana is head down! Dr Graham said that it's highly unlikely Kaydri can flip herself back up, but that she's not engaged. I'm still pretty hard so Dr Graham doesn't think I'll go anytime soon, but I like the fact there is some progress. Also, after feeling Kaydriana, I was told that if she had to guess, she would say Kaydriana would be 7.5 lbs if born today. Wow! She is gonna be a big baby if I go to term - I don't wanna think how big she could be if I go past my due date.
The last two days I've felt pretty could overall. My feet and hands are my biggest complaint right now... but only a few more weeks of that.
I just have the hardest time trying to figure out what to wear. I don't want to spend any more money on maternity clothes, but between not fitting into any shoes and the weather being unpredictable, I struggle with finding something to wear. Rain + flips flops = :(
Oh and for any body who doesn't know having your cervix checked sucks! I don't know what the doc did last week, but it didn't feel like anything. After today's examination, I'm cramping and feel kinda beat up. TMI perhaps, but just thought I should share :)
Oh and tonight is my last shower before Kaydriana's arrival. What an exciting day!
You look fantastic and I can't believe you are so close to meeting her! And I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited that she flipped herself around, that is the best news I've heard all week! Ha ha on the cervix check, yes that is exactly what it is like! It's really hard when you are in labor and they are doing it, but you also want to know if you have made any progress!
ReplyDeleteEeee! I can't wait to get the phone call that you're in labor! She will be here before you know it! And yes, cervix checks suck and I always felt "blah" and crampy afterwards...but it's worth it to know! haha.
